July 25-26. Programming Saturday 10:00a-5:00p and Sunday 9:30a-4:00p

With over 30 years of collective clay experience, Aubrey Sloan and Joe Robinson will share throwing and carving techniques. Joe will conduct a potter’s wheel throwing workshop on Saturday where various techniques will be demonstrated including making a large 2 part pot. Demos and worktime will be provided, and you’ll have the chance to make pots with direction and coaching from Joe. On Saturday night we’ll enjoy personal wood fired pizzas and a campfire. On Sunday, Aubrey Sloan will teach carving and explain various considerations like clay, tools, and getting started. You’ll have the chance to carve the piece you made on Saturday with Aubrey’s coaching and direction. You’ll also see Aubrey carve on Joe’s pot and hear thoughts on collaboration and community practice. Materials and bisque firing included. Camping and Wood Fired Pizza Dough/Sauce included. Bring Your Own toppings and beverages.
