Join Joe Robinson for two days throwing large forms at East Creek’s beautiful indoor/outdoor studio space. Joe will share 20 years of experience and East Creek’s considerable studio tool suite. See demos and get pro tips on throwing larger pots. Whether your current max is 6 inches or 60, there's something for everyone to learn. Demos and work time will be provided, and each participant can choose whether to attend each demo or keep working. Individual coaching and critique time will be built in to both days between demos. Questions about personal work and projects will be happily answered. 

On Thursday night, we’ll make personal wood fired pizzas. Camping and pizza dough/sauce are included, BYO toppings and beverages. 50 lbs of clay and 3 cubic feet of bisque included- more can be purchased for $12/bag and $10/CF respectively. 

Schedule: 

Thursday: 

-10:00a arrival, orientation and setup

-moring demos, afternoon work time

-evening hosted pizza oven, BYO toppings

Friday: 

-breakfast on your own

-morning demos

-afternoon personal coaching

-evening dinner on you own (go into town or use our shared kitchen/grill)

Saturday: 

-hosted breakfast with East Creek fresh eggs

-wrap up, trimming demos, individual arrangement making 

-instruction time ends at 11:00

-studio time ends at 3:00

-Optional 4th of July party starts at 4:00. $25 includes camping and pig roast
