Price: Full 2 day retreat: $265

Saturday night camping, pizza, and raku only: $60

Radius Art Studio welcomes its members and the wider community to come together for a weekend retreat in the coastal mountains of Oregon. Join Joe Robinson and spend time making work at the legendary East Creek studio and property, fire raku and make pizza on Friday night, and enjoy a leisurely Saturday of finishing up projects in the studio and lounging on the banks of beautiful East Creek.

FIRE DANGER NOTE: In the case of extreme fire danger, raku and wood fired pizza could be too dangerous for the conditions. In that case, we will pivot to a gas-grilled meal and will conduct raku only after sunset. You'll be notified in advance if that's the case. 

Full 2 day retreat includes:

-1 full bag of clay

-1 cubic foot of bisque firing (work delivered back to Radius in 3 weeks by Joe)

-Studio access around the clock from 10:00a Friday thru 5:00p Saturday.

-Studio orientation from Joe and a demo or two.

-Friday night raku with all glaze and material provided, 1 cubic foot

-Friday night pizza dough and sauce, bring your own toppings and bev

-Saturday AM coffee and tea bar

-camping and use of EC outdoor kitchen

-Check out by 5:00p Saturday

NIGHT RAKU only offering:

-arrive Friday at 4:00p

-fire 1 raku pot no taller than 9" (BYO bisque or buy a piece to paint for $20)

-wood fired pizza dough and sauce, bring your own toppings

-camping and outdoor facility use

-check out by 12:00 noon on Saturday

Optional:

-tiny cabin rental

-buy bisque pots to paint $20/ea

-non-artist partner/friend add on to weekend cost: $45 

-extra clay and bisque space available $20/bag and $10/CF respectively.

-roll pots made into wood firing $TBD
