Peter Callas’ 50 years in ceramics earned him a worldwide reputation for both his pioneering work with the Anagama kiln and his unique, poetic, and expressionist style. At this two-day hands-on workshop Peter will teach the art of “One of Kind Forms” using on and off wheel construction. His hand building approach emphasizes how to deal with clay’s expressionistic challenges of constructing sculptural objects as well as Peter’s artful and inspirational techniques abstracting wheel thrown vessels.
