ChickenCat: New Year's Crew Firing and Party

Join Joe Robinson and Aubrey Sloan for a hot and glassy NEW YEAR's firing of the East Creek ChickenCat kiln. This is a crew and friends firing party to ring in the new year, and one last hoorah for 2022 . 

Last years New Year's firing was a blast, and we want to have another celebration and firing with friends, fireworks, smores, and good times.

We will have some snacks and smore goodies for New Year's eve, as well as some exciting lights in the sky plans! 

**If you would like to invite a non crew friend, artist or not, we would love to host more friends for the fun! 

Please add on a non artist ticket for each person you will be bringing with. They can come to the firing and share in your cube space, or just come for the New Year's festivities! 

Each participant should plan on attending the loading, at least one day of the firing, and the unloading. Registration will be open until the firing is full. These tickets are for the full price of the cubic footage, and for the New Year's celebration!

NOTE: Please only sign up for one slot per person! Signing up for multiple spots (ie selecting 2, 2 cubic foot tickets rather than one, 4 cubic foot ticket) takes a spot away from someone else.

Newcomers are welcome to sign up online. Some help, but no instruction, is provided. If you need lots of help, please join us for one of our wood firing workshops, which include instructions and materials. 

Covid Policy: East Creek requires COVID-19 vaccinations for all program participants over 18 years old. A vaccination exemption will be granted with a signed letter from a Medical Doctor only. We follow the recomendations of the Oregon Health Authority and mandates from the Governer's Office. Masks will be required onsite when Oregon Health Authority guidance requires it. We ask all participants to practice social distancing.
