Join us for a crew-led firing of our ChickenCat catenary arch wood-soda kiln. There will be no workshops feeding into this firing, so expect all to share equally in the work and to be mostly self directed in prep. As usual, wadding and glaze are available. Joe Robinson will be participating in the firing and will be accountable for its success, though other leaders will be invited to step forward.
Each participant should plan on attending the loading, at least one day of the firing, and the unloading. Registration will be open until the firing is full. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of signup, with 50% due upon completion of the firing. We must always slightly oversell the kiln to ensure it's filled; your final payment will reflect your actual cubic footage in the kiln. One Pot Pass holders…
