Beginning Basics Workshop with Joe Robinson 

12 people max. Indoor/Outdoor. Beginner focused.

Saturday, July 10 10:00a- Sunday July 11 5:00p.

-25 lbs clay

-Bisque firing

-camping

-Wood Fired pizza dough and sauce, BYO toppings

Join Joe Robinson for two days of beginner ceramics at East Creek’s beautiful indoor/outdoor studio space. Joe will share 20 years of experience and East Creek’s considerable studio tool suite. Get serious, ground up instruction from a University ceramics instructor. 

On Saturday night, we’ll make personal wood fired pizzas. Camping and pizza dough/sauce are included, BYO toppings and beverages.

Schedule: 

Saturday: 

-10:00a arrival, orientation and setup

-morning lecture and demos, afternoon work time and personal coaching

-evening hosted pizza oven, BYO toppings

Sunday: 

-breakfast on your own (use our outdoor kitchen)

-morning demos

-afternoon personal coaching and wrap up.

Optional: 

-Tiny Cabin stay

-bunkhouse bed

-Stay on Sunday night and extend your unguided work time into Monday. You can decide this on Sunday. Email joe@eastcreekart.org if you'd like to reserve cabin space.
