Loading/Firing: April 27-28, 2024 (Sat-Sun),
Loading starts at: Sat, 12:00 noon
Unloading: Wednesday, May 1 at 12:00 noon.
Reserve your space for re-fires or new work in our crew gas-soda firing! We'll load the gas-soda on Anagama unloading day.
All soda fired work must be wadded before it's loaded into the kiln. Glaze is optional but reccomended on the inside of functional pieces (this is called "liner glaze"). All necessary wadding and glaze are provided. To refire, you'll just need to re-wad.
If you'd like to bring your own cone 10 clazes that's acceptable; if you want to place those glazes on the outside of your work, please create a ceramic "coaster" for each piece to catch any glaze that runs off. The coaster should have raised edges capable of capturing running glaze. That could be a quick and dirty pinched thing, or tiny plates! If you only use your outside…
